The 2026 Cultural Summer at the House of Nobel laureate Ivo Andrić will be opened by academician Matija Bećković. The 2026 Cultural Summer at the House of Nobel laureate Ivo Andrić will be opened with the program „Obično-neobično veče sa Matijom Bećkovićem“ (An Ordinary–Unusual Evening with Matija Bećković) on Tuesday, June 16 at 8:30 PM. The audience will have the opportunity, through conversation and storytelling, to learn about the life path, literary work and thought of one of the most important contemporary poets from our region. Special attention will be devoted to the books „Majka Zorka“ and „Moj drug Đido“, which have attracted great interest from readers and the literary public. The evening will be hosted by journalist and publicist Perica Đaković, who will speak with the guest about literature, time, memories and the people who have marked his work. „Obično-neobično veče“ will be an opportunity for the audience to encounter the word, poetry and the spirit of tradition in a space that carries a special cultural and historical symbolism.
