Dvorana Park (Park Hall)

Dvorana park is a cultural facility in the centre of Herceg Novi, located between two city parks. Built after the 1979 earthquake, it was opened on 28 October 1987. It was designed by architect Živko Janjić, recipient of the Borbine nagrade za arhitekturu (1987).The building has three levels: a technical basement with dressing rooms and storage; the middle level with a large hall (402 seats + 14 in the galleries), sound, lighting and projection booths and a foyer — and the third level housing the administration of JUK Herceg fest. In the southern part of the building is Radio-televizija Herceg Novi. The hall hosts theatre, cinema and concert performances, congresses and symposia. The foyer also serves as an exhibition space. Adjacent to the building are parking and an amphitheatre — the summer stage.
